VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2018: It's time to go down the Rolling River!! Time to start thinking about VBS and we can’t do it without you. Please pray about it and consider helping this year for the first time, or coming back year after year. Volunteer flyers are available at Flyer Central or Sign up here! It is a great week of mission and ministry. VBS will be June 24-28 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

USHERS NEEDED: Please consider volunteering as an usher for our worship services. Ushers are currently scheduled to serve 2 months per year. There is an immediate need for a Head Usher for the month of May. Responsibilities include handing out bulletins, collecting prayer requests and collecting offerings. If you can help, please contact Chick Zoll at 761-1842.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS: Our church has set aside scholarship money that will pay a portion to get TEN campers to camp this year. If you’ve never been, camp is one of the most life-changing and incredible spiritual experiences you can have. You will meet friends that will last a lifetime and create memories that will carry you through the difficult times in your life. Our church’s BOLD goal of sending ten campers to camp this year NEEDS YOU in order to be accomplished. Children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends are eligible for assistance! There are camps for EVERY age group from mom/dad/grandparents and me camps for those 4-12 years old to post-high/young adult camps!

If you would like to help send a camper to camp, you can write a check to the church with "Camp Scholarships" in the memo line! Thanks for taking such an interest in the spiritual well-being of our kids!

SOWERS OF THE SEED - PEEDEE MISSION TRIP:  Once again, a group of 12 participants from Grace church will be traveling to South Carolina, leaving Junne 17 and returning June 22.  Each participant pays their way for the trip ($350), which includes food, lodging and supplies needed for various projects that will be completed.  Three cars/trucks with trailers will be taken.  Each driver uses their car for travel to and from S.C. and also to and from worksites, plus the cost of gas.  The past 3 years we have challenged the congregation to help us "Fill our Tanks" and you have exceeded the goal for 3 years.  We are challenging the congregation again this year to help " Fill our tanks and Feed a Community". The goal is $500 per car ($1500) plus $500 to assist in purchasing the food for community dinners.  This involves one or two meals that the mission group prepares and shares with members of the community and/or a meal with one of the local churches, which is followed by a worship service.  The total goal this year is $2000.  Cash donations or Checks can be made out to Grace UM Youth and can be placed in an envelope marked:  Mission Trip/Grace UM Youth with attention to (Leslie Kocher, Chris Munn, or Don Hill), and dropped off at the office or placed in the offering plate.
