LAST SUNDAY'S ANNOUNCEMENT
As we announced on Sunday, February 23, Jason has been appointed to Elm Park United Methodist Church in Scranton, effective July 1. This past week, the church council met with Gary Weaver, our conference superintendent to finalize our "church profile". This is the document used to assist the cabinet in finding the next pastor of Grace Church. We look forward to Bishop Hector and the cabinet doing their work to identify the next pastor and to making an announcement as soon as we get news from the conference. We remain in prayer for the community at Elm Park, as their beloved pastor is retiring and we remain in prayer for our church as we face this transition.

LAY MEMBERS AT LARGE NEEDED FOR 2025 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Marion Baker and Michelle Schwartzman serve as our lay delegates to annual conference. However, there are more spots open for other lay members throughout the district/conference to serve. The annual conference is in Williamsport from May 29 – 31. Those wishing to attend should be available to attend all sessions. Please see the note below from Cindy Weaver, our conference registrar. Please note: If you are selected to attend, this is NOT registration. You will receive a separate registration link when registration begins in April. (Additional note: Recently, district names have changed and we are now the "River Valley" district (formerly Harrisburg).
How to Submit Your Name for Nomination to Serve as a Lay Member at Large
The 2025 Susquehanna Annual Conference meeting will be held May 29-31, 2025, at The Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA. Each year, the hope is to equalize the number of clergy and lay persons attending Annual Conference. Click on the link below. This link will direct you to a page where you are asked to provide your name, address, email address, phone number, church name and district. ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE – MARCH 5th @ 7pm!
We'll be joining other churches in the Mechanicsburg cluster on Ash Wednesday! The service is 7pm at Shepherdstown Church, 1934 S York St, Mechanicsburg. Each pastor from the cluster will participate and Jason will be preaching. In addition, there will be a combined choir singing at the service! If you are interested in singing, there’s only ONE practice at 6pm...an hour before the service at Shepherdstown. Let's add a little Grace Notes to this community choir!

MIDWEEK SERVICES WITH TRINITY!
We'll once again be joining with Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church for midweek (Thursday) Lenten services. We’ll be exploring the Parables of Jesus. Services will begin at 7p and there will be a meal beginning at 5:30p. We’ll begin on March 13th at Trinity. Grace will host two services, March 20th and April 3rd. We’re in need of volunteers to help provide a small, simple dinner on our two host nights. Please contact Jason or the church office if you can help with that. Thank you!

PRAYER REQUESTS
