RIP MEDICAL DEBT!
You heard it officially on Easter Sunday! The church council has set a goal to raise ten thousand dollars in support of RIP Medical debt, to wipe out all the medical debt that RIP Medical Debt has access to in Cumberland County. We can offer NEW LIFE to people struggling. We can move the insurmountable object that families face. We can wipe out all the debt that RIP Medical Debt has access to throughout Cumberland County! To help us in this bold vision, you can donate at the church, online at graceumlemoyne.org/donate or via text (844-964-1547). Please designate donations by adding “RIP MEDICAL DEBT” to a check or by clicking the “other” tab online and by text and adding RIP MEDICAL DEBT.
CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED!
We have had tremendous success with our free clothing “Shed of Grace”. We’re in need of some more clothing. Lightly used clothes are great…anything that is appropriate to give away. However, if it is undergarments, we ask that those be new items. BAKE SALE!
April 23rd is Primary Election Day and as usual we’d like to hold a Bake Sale with your help. We’ll need folks to bake goodies and package them. If you can provide a card with ingredients that is always helpful. We’ll also need volunteers to work two- or three-hour shifts (men you can also do this). Everything is sold by donation only so very little change is required. Bake Sale will start at 9AM unless there is someone who wants to work earlier. OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE!
We're planning to worship in the park with Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church! This service will take place on Sunday, June 2 at 9:30am. We'd love for just a few people to work on planning a picnic right after worship with our neighborhood friends. If you're interested, please let the church office know!

OUR LEMOYNE COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY IS BACK!
In early summer, we plan to put on another block party for our neighbors in Lemoyne! We need a group of people to make this the biggest, best, block party ever. We’d love to have some new faces join us on the committee. This is a short-term committee who’s responsible for planning the block party and then making notes afterwards noting what worked well and what we’d like to do differently next time. SPRINGFEST!
Our annual Springfest, in collaboration with Musselman Funeral Home, is coming on Saturday, April 20. We need people to make it a huge success! We need volunteers to staff the kids’ games and activities. We also need people who can help us get tables, chairs and other supplies up and down the elevator for set up and tear down.
