PASTOR JASON RENEWAL LEAVE
Pastors in the United Methodist Church are encouraged to take a renewal leave every 7 years. Jason has never taken one in 12 years. The church council and the Harrisburg area district have approved a renewal leave for Jason from August 16 through October 28. We realize that there may be some questions about this. Please feel free to direct your questions to Jason (jschwartzman@susumc.org) or in person before or after a service. We are excited to offer this time of rest and renewal.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS BACKPACKS AND WATER BOTTLES!
It’s time to start planning our support for Washington Heights Elementary School students for the next school year! Backpacks and water bottles will be purchased with the donations received. If you wish to help with this project, please provide your donation by July 31st. Please make sure you mark the envelope or check specifically for backpacks to ensure it’s deposited in the correct fund. Your donation is very much appreciated!! Questions? SHED OF GRACE SUMMER DONATIONS NEEDED!
We need "summer" clothing for the Shed of Grace clothing mission. In the hallway outside the kids Sunday School room, there are two barrels that you can put your donations in or beside the barrels. Undergarments are always a pressing need, so we ask that those be brand new.
